My state requires 4wd in order to get a beach access registration plate. While I’d think exceptions should be made for RWD air cooled VWs, it’s at least an honest attempt to cut down on some of the idiocy. Even a 5% reduction is helpful

Last summer, a group of low riders drove onto the beach here in Daytona. That didn’t go well.
